Last weekend, Lone Star Park hosted the pair of $30,000 Texas Lone Star Juvenile Stakes (G3), one for 3-yr-old fillies and the other for all three-year-olds. The races serve as an annual indicator of the best up-and-coming horses in the country. The breeder/owner/trainer/jockey combo swept both races! Both winners were also sired by Majd Al Arab. Congratulations to Dianne Waldron of Rosebrook Farm, trainer Cesar Govea, and jockey Ernesto Valdez-Jiminez.
