Big Ben AA wore down Fleet De Sand to win the inaugural $40,000 Arabian Claiming Championship over 7 furlongs at Lone Star Park last Saturday evening. It was the 6th win and 22nd top-three finish in 26 career starts for the consistent 6-year-old bay stallion sired by Burning Sand out of Tri Spring Proof. Big Ben AA was bred by Allegro Arabians and is owned by Darolyn Butler, trained by Roberto Madrigal, and ridden by Victor Urieta Jr.

Fleet De Sand came in second, followed by RB Rath. Congratulations to all the winning connections!
